All IHS students will read two books over the summer break. On Thursday/Friday, September 10/11, 2009, teachers will design a form of accountability for each English class. Anticipate that your teacher will ask you to write something about the two books you have read this summer (a characterization, reading log, a dialectical journal, or an essay on themes). Take notes as you read.
Required Advanced Placement reading assignments are also included in this notice (*Indicates books for the college bound student).
