SCIENCE NIGHT is Tuesday, December 8, 2009.  All students, parents, and teachers are welcome to come and share the fun.

  • SCIENCE NIGHT PRIZES will be provided by VILLAGE ACE HARDWARE:  In order to be entered in the raffle for prizes at Science Night, students must bring an (early bird) registration form and it must have their teacher’s signature.  Forms should be complete with the exception of the Review Board approval at the bottom of the form.  Registration forms should identify a project which would make use of the scientific method for an experiment, or show intent to invent something which is identified on the form.
  • INFORMATION: A short explanation concerning what makes a Science Fair project will be given and we will also talk about judging and Western Nevada Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
  • HANDS ON EXPERIMENTS: 30 Minutes of supervised hands on experiments will be provided allowing students to observe and record data at several stations set-up in advance.  These experiments will help students understand how to create their own science fair project.
  • PAST PROJECTS: Winning projects from prior years will be on display for students to see.  If your student has a winner from a prior year, please bring it and share it with the other students.
  • REGISTRATION FORMS:  The registration forms will be printed and distributed the week before Science Night.  All other forms will be available at Science Night tables and will remain available for viewing and download at www.inclineschools.org.

FINAL REGISTRATION DATE is Thursday, January 21st.  Students must turn-in registration forms to their teachers by January 21, 2010 in order to be entered in the fair.  Forms will be reviewed for approval, and returned to the teachers ASAP.
