Children's movies shown at theater

Previously-released movies geared toward children are being shown at 10 a.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 18 at Century Summit Sierra, 13965 S. Virginia St., Reno.

This week's show is "Aliens in the Attic," a PG-rated film about a group of children who try and protect their vacation home from invading aliens.

The schedule this summer is as follows: "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" on June 30, "Monsters versus Aliens" on July 7, "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" on July 14, "Planet 51" on July 21, "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" on July 28," "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Sequel" on Aug. 4, "Charlotte's Web" on Aug. 11 and "The Adventures of Pippi Longstocking" on Aug. 18.

Cost: $1 per show.
