Dear Scholarship Advisor,
The Lake of the Sky Garden Club is pleased to offer your students an opportunity to apply for our annual $1000 scholarship to encourage and promote study in horticulture, landscape architecture or environmental science. Attached please find the application for this scholarship. Applicants must enroll in college courses in our particular field of interest relating to gardening, such as horticulture, botany, landscape architecture, forestry, or environmental science. If you have any questions or need more information please feel free to call me at 530 583-5296.
Also attached is a flyer for you to print out and post where it will be seen by your students. Please encourage your qualified students to apply for this scholarship. Scholarship applications may be mailed to me or e-mailed. The deadline for applications this year will be May 1, 2012.
