CalendarThis year, for the 1st time in many years the 5th grade class will be going on an overnight outdoor education trip. The PTA hopes to make this trip an annual event.
A 5th grade parent information night is scheduled for Wednesday January 18th at 5:30pm, representatives from Sierra Nevada Journey's Grizzley Ranch in Portola CA will be there to present to the parents. All 5th grade parents are encouraged to attend.
In order to make this program a success and sustain the program for future 5th grade classes the PTA has voted to donate $5000 to this year's trip and to establish a yearly, raffle in conjunction with the Bids for Kids Auction, the proceeds of which will be used to help fund the outdoor education trip. The Raffle will be co-ordinated by each 5th grade class. Parents will be asked to pay a portion of their students fee, as they would for any other field trip.
5th grade families who have choosen the monthly payment option, please remember that your payments are due on the 15th of each month, including December 15, 2011 and January 15, 2012.
